Commissioning

From April through June 2012 Antje followed a missions program at All Nations Christian College to prepare for her work in Bangladesh. The Baptist Congregation in Maastricht, Antje’s home church since 2005, commissioned Antje on Sunday, September 9th, 2012 for service in Bangladesh in a beautiful sending-off service. She spent the first 2 months Dhaka, the capital city, to learn the language, or more accurately, to refresh her knowledge of the language. Afterwards she left to Dinajpur District in northwestern Bangladesh, where she started her work as general surgeon in LAMB Hospital.
